having undergone dressage training for ten years, now Joanna is actively involved in the game of kings. Its been another ten years since she is into  playing polo. So far she has played in almost all the major polo centers of the country but her training club remains the "Polo Club de Chantilly"

Passion for the wild

When she is not hitting the ball on her Criollo ( An Argentine breed of horse specially developed for polo), Joanna  travels far to ride wild on different breeds around the globe. So far she has done horse safari in South Africa, horse camping in Mongolia, conveying horses in Idaho (USA), horse tracking trail in the golden sand dunes in the Sultanate of Oman and beach rides in the West Coast in France. Her bucket list is still wide open with dreams of rides in Iceland, Namibia, Patagonia, Canada and Jordan!

Joanna and "Gallops"

Taking her passion further, in the year 2014 she got involved  in organizing  of an exclusive horse event by the name "Gallops" . As per her it is more of a human adventure than an equestrian adventure. This unique “Paris-Dakar style” equestrian concept is an orienteering and regularity race in teams of 5 riders each. Lasting for 6 days, the event offers endless desertic spaces in faraway lands with parties and entertainments. First edition of Gallops took place in Oman with 100 international horse riders competing in a 200 km trail in the golden dunes of the Wahiba Sands desert. On last February, the adventure have encountered another big success in the Merzouga lunar and sandy desert in the East part of Morocco.
Presently Joanna is busy preparing for  the third edition of the Gallops which will take place in the colorful and sumptuous eternal Rajasthan in India. Old mansions and palaces will open their doors to host the team majestically and to let the "Gallops" discover the Land of the Maharajah.

Any information regarding the event can be found on her website  www.gallopsofindia.com .
